Heritage Products is pleased to announce that we have established a working relationship with a highly-skilled stone cutter in the region of France traditionally renowned for the production of the finest French Amber Gun Flints in the country. This craftsman has dedicated his career to producing these exceptional gun flints in the exact same manner as was practiced in the 18th century when France had the highest reputation for producing the best and most sought after gun flints of all those available in the world.
The flints that we now bring to you, our customers, are identical in every way with those made more than 200 years ago! |
These flints are in every way, a touchstone with antiquity! |
When you install one of these flints in your flintlock musket, fowler, rifle or pistol, you literally experience the same reaction that was understood by proficient shooters more than two centuries ago. You will quickly realize that these flints are simply the finest available.
By buying in volume, Heritage Products has been able to keep the prices of these prized gun flints to a reasonable amount. (Some American companies today are charging as much as five times more for the very same flints.) We believe that by keeping the prices as low as possible, shooters will be encouraged to use and enjoy their flintlocks more often.

And Now..... |

For many years there has been discussion concerning the merits of flint mined in different parts of the world. For some shooters it was French Amber flints, for others, it had to be Black English. And, well, now there is French Black. Our French flint knapper is producing black flints from a deposit in France that seems to be of the same quality as the English variety of flint. It is very fine grained and its edges are sharp. Judge for yourself how French Black Flints compare to French Amber Flints.
